Gene Hackman's Final Role Was in 2004's Welcome to Mooseport

After an incredible career, Gene Hackman hung it up after starring in the political satire Welcome to Mooseport with Ray Romano in 2004. He soon after announced he was finished with acting and found a new love for writing novels. While he's no longer acting, Hackman did serve as a narrator for the Marine documentaries The Unknown Flag Raiser of Iwo Jima in 2016 and We, The Marines in 2017.
