Comedian George Lopez and his wife Ann Lopez will host an afternoon of soulful jazz and delectable dishes by renowned chefs from across Los Angeles at The Ritz-Carlton, Marina del Rey on Sunday, November 12, 2006 from 11:30am to 3:30pm as the National Kidney Foundation of Southern California presents its 20th Annual Great Chefs of Los Angeles. Hosted by American Airlines and The Ritz-Calrton, Marina del Rey, the event maintains its reputation as one of Los Angeles' premiere charity gourmet food and wine extravaganzas and features both a live and silent auction. This year's theme of 'Puttin on the Ritz' honors the chefs of the Ritz-Carlton hotels throughout California, recognizing them for their exceptional culinary talents and generous contributions to the community, with chef Rob Wilson of Jer-ne at The Ritz Carlton, Marina del Rey serving as the host chef.

The event features an intimate VIP champagne reception before the main event from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm, exclusive to those purchasing VIP tickets for $250 per ticket, with main event tickets available for $175.
