Comedian George Lopez and his unique take on the late-night landscape has been given a premiere date. According to Variety, Lopez's new late-night talk show, dubbed Lopez Tonight, will premiere on November 9 at 11 PM on TBS.

The show will be filmed on the Warner Bros. lot and the show will have a jump on the network late-night talk shows, airing a half-hour earlier than The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien and Late Show with David Letterman.

"We have 93 million households, and we're in a beautiful position at 11 o'clock. There's an audience out there that's underserved," Lopez said. "In the continuing diversity of the country, and as people become more familiar with you, you realize it's not your father's country anymore."

Lopez also suggested that the show would be fluid from night to night, not sticking to a more rigid format.
