The Sparrow and The Brave One: According to The Hollywood Reporter, George Miller is in negotiations to direct two Warner Bros. Pictures projects that Michael Seitzman has been tapped to write.
The first is The Brave One, to be produced by Joel Silver. The project is described as Death Wish with a female protagonist. Seitzman is rewriting from an original script by father-and-son team Rod and Bruce Taylor.
Seitzman's second undertaking is The Sparrow, an adaptation of the acclaimed novel by Mary Doria Russell. "Sparrow," set in the near future, tells the story of a Jesuit priest who leads a mission to a newly discovered extraterrestrial culture, a mission that ends in catastrophe.
