Star Wars fans! Get your official Revenge of the Sith toys this Saturday, April 2nd!

Below are the press releases for the participating stores featuring midnight releases of the new action figures...

WAL-MART

Starting at 8 AM on Saturday, April 2 and continuing through Sunday, April 3, 395 Wal-Mart stores across the country will be hosting the ultimate "48 Hours of the Force" Star Wars fan celebration that includes interactive toy & game demonstrations, Star Wars character appearances, and free Star Wars goodies all weekend long. Fans will be completely immersed in the Star Wars fantasy with decorated tents set up outside participating stores, DJs playing Star Wars music, and photo opportunities for kids with costumed Star Wars characters and Darth Vader character standees. Consumers are invited to join in on the Star Wars fun and excitement and come dressed up as their favorite characters.

Fans young and old will be able to experience the new Episode III toys and games such as the new STAR WARS LIGHTSABER BATTLE GAME that connects to your TV with which you can train to be a Jedi and battle against Darth Vader! In addition, fans that try out Hasbro's new battle figure game, ATTACKTIX, will receive a free ATTACKTIX figure (while supplies last). And everyone will receive free goodies (while supplies last), such as a collectible poster and stickers, as well as snacks from Pepsi, Frito Lay, Masterfoods, Kelloggs and more.

And, for a limited time only, collectors will be able to purchase (while supplies last) the Wal-Mart "Early-Bird" Exclusive - classic reproductions of the first four original Star Wars action figures from 1977. Only available on April 2 & 3 at the Wal-Mart 48 Hours of the Force tent stores and on walmart.com, the Early Bird is an exclusive every fan will want to add to his or her collection. When consumers purchase the Early Bird, they receive a certificate that they mail in to get the four Star Wars action figures: Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, R2-D2, and Chewbacca. This mail-in figure promotion was done back in 1977 for the original Star Wars movie and Wal-Mart and Hasbro are bring it back to celebrate the last movie in the saga. Only a limited number will be available so fans will have to act fast before they're all gone.

TOY 'R' US

The new collection of toys and games for Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith goes on sale at Toys “R” Us stores nationwide on April 2. At 12:01 AM on April 2, 316 Toys “R” Us stores across the country will open their doors giving Star Wars fans the first opportunity to make purchases from the new toy collection. The biggest celebration will take place at Toys “R” Us Times Square where Star Wars fans are being encouraged to come dressed as their favorite character from the Star Wars movies. Here, attendees will be treated to special appearances by Darth Tater and Star Wars mPIRE characters Darth Vader and Obi-Wan Kenobi and special prizes will be awarded to fans who successfully answer Star Wars trivia. Star Wars enthusiasts who are unable to attend the midnight festivities can log onto Toysrus.com when the virtual store also opens to sell the Star Wars collection at 12:01 am on April 2.

An extensive assortment of Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith toys will be showcased in special feature shops in all Toys “R” Us stores. Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith Anakin Skywalker's Jedi Starfighter

Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith Holographic Yoda Figure

Jedi Master Yoda, a close friend of the Wookiees, travels to their homeworld of Kashyyyk to help personally spearhead the Republic defense of that planet. While there, the revered Jedi sends a holographic transmission to the Jedi Council to discuss recent ominous events. The Holographic Yoda figure features unique translucent styling and is available only at Toys “R” Us beginning April 10 as a gift with a Hasbro Star Wars purchase of $25 or more. Not sold separately. Target is the ultimate base for the Rebellion with everything Star Wars - including an exclusive collectible only sold at Target. Target is the exclusive retailer for a new Darth Vader figure - Darth Vader (Lava Reflection). This unique figure features Darth Vader with a red flame reflection. Because of the high demand for this item, Target guests will be limited to purchasing one Darth Vader (Lava Reflection) figure.
