The latest footage from She-Hulk: Attorney at Law may have revealed the presence of another Marvel favorite in the MCU: Johnny Blaze AKA Ghost Rider. A newly released featurette for the upcoming Disney+ series reveals how the title character will gain her powers, with fans spotting the major Ghost Rider cameo amongst the onslaught of new footage.

Now, while there has been a lot of discussion over whether the poster says “Johnny” or “Donny,” it absolutely, definitely...probably says Blaze. A surname that should be very familiar to Marvel fans. The first one to take up the mantle of the Ghost Rider, Johnny Blaze is a stunt cyclist who makes a deal with the Devil (Mephisto) in order to save the life of his step-father. Thus, Blaze is transformed into a Ghost Rider, a leather-clad skeleton with a flaming head whose task is to collect souls and punish the wicked.

A wildly popular Marvel antihero, fans have been waiting for Ghost Rider to show up in the MCU for some time. While there had been rumors that the character would make his debut in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, it seems that his introduction will be a little slower, with this poster by far one of the biggest clues that Ghost Rider will eventually light up the screen.

Word on who would play Ghost Rider should he ever enter the MCU is unknown, though fans have often called for either John Wick star Keanu Reeves or The Walking Dead’s Norman Reedus to get the role. Recently, Academy Award nominee Ryan Gosling put himself forward for the comic book movie part, with Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige later jumping onboard the idea. “If Ryan wants to be Ghost Rider, Gosling’s unbelievable … Ryan’s amazing,” Feige said. “I’d love to find a place for him in the MCU. He’s dressed up as Ken on Venice beach and he gets more press than giant movies coming out that weekend, it’s amazing.”

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law Will Feature a Lot of Daredevil

Hinting at the existence of Johnny Blaze is far from the only effort being made by She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, which has now been confirmed to star Charlie Cox as a yellow-and-red suited Daredevil. "I don't think we ever, in a million years, thought that we would be allowed to use them, because we didn't know what the status was of the character,” creator Jessica Gao recently said of Daredevil’s inclusion. “And then, I can't remember how, we got wind that he was coming back and that it was Charlie Cox, and we were like, 'Wait, does that I mean we can use him? Are we allowed?' And when they told us yeah, I mean, we couldn't believe it, we thought we were being pranked."

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law has been described as a straight-up comedy from Marvel Studios, which sees Bruce Banner help his cousin, Jennifer Walters, when she needs an emergency blood transfusion and guess what? She receives his powers too. Now able to become the 6-foot-7, green superhero known as She-Hulk, Jennifer is put in charge of handling cases involving other superhumans. Including the likes of ex-Hulk villain, The Abomination.

Starring Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters AKA She-Hulk alongside Jameela Jamil, Josh Segarra, Ginger Gonzaga, Jon Bass, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Tim Roth, Mark Ruffalo, and Benedict Wong, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is scheduled to premiere on August 17, 2022 on Disney+.
