Back in March, the first trailer for Ghostbusters was unleashed, which wasn't well-received by a large group of fans. In fact, it eventually became the most-hated movie trailer of all time on YouTube, with these fans deriding the notion of an all-female cast. But there are still many others who are looking forward to this summer adventure. As the debate continues over this reboot, a new trailer has surfaced, which offers a better look at the villain, and even more ghosts.

The latest trailer arrives courtesy of the Sony Pictures UK Twitter page, which features a new look at the iconic ghost Slimer and many more who wreak havoc on New York City. We'll have to wait and see if this footage becomes more hated than the original trailer, but director Paul Feig has been doing his best to combat these haters, speaking out against their online campaigns to trash the film while defending his cast. This has easily become one of the most divisive films hitting theaters this summer, but we'll have to wait and see if the controversy adversely affects its box office performance.

Ghostbusters makes its long-awaited return, rebooted with a cast of hilarious new characters. Thirty years after the beloved original franchise took the world by storm, director Paul Feig brings his fresh take to the supernatural comedy, joined by some of the funniest actors working today. This summer, they're here to save the world! The new Ghostbusters are Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones. Chris Hemsworth leads the supporting cast, playing the Ghostbusters' new secretary Kevin.

Original Ghostbusters stars Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Sigourney Weaver, Annie Potts and Ernie Hudson have all been confirmed for cameo appearances, though we don't get to see any of them in this latest footage. Sony has issued a July 15, 2016 release date, putting the Ghostbusters up against Broad Green Pictures' The Infiltrator. Ghostbusters is produced by Ivan Reitman and Amy Pascal, and written by Katie Dippold & Paul Feig, based on the 1984 film Ghostbusters, written by Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis and directed by Ivan Reitman.

The supporting cast includes Andy Garcia as the mayor of New York City, Michael K. Williams as Hawkins, Matt Walsh as Rourke, Pat Kiernan as a news anchor and Neil Casey as the human villain Rowan, who we get a better look at in this trailer. If that wasn't enough, we also have two new photos which you can check out below. Check out the new trailer and photos below before Ghostbusters hits theaters in just a few short months.
