If bustin' makes you feel good, then we have some good news. The first trailer for Ghostbusters 2020 is set to arrive online very soon. While the specific release date hasn't been revealed, it appears that the trailer will be making its way online in the coming days. Not only that, but it appears recent rumors suggesting that the title of the movie has changed may have been true, which we'll get definitive confirmation of when the trailer drops, if not before.

First off, a new report reveals that the first trailer for the movie has been rated, which means it will be online any day now. Given that Sony Pictures is behind Ghostbusters 2020, it stands to reason that they are hoping to attach the trailer to Jumanji: The Next Level, which hits theaters on December 13. With that in mind, the trailer debuting online sometime within the next week would make a great deal of sense. Per the report, the trailer that has been approved for release is 2 minutes and 28 seconds in length, which is more of a full-length trailer as opposed to a simpler teaser.

The other important tidbit is that the trailer rating lists the title as Ghostbusters: Afterlife. This had been previously rumored to be the new title, but that hasn't been confirmed by the studio up to this point. This has been billed as a follow-up to Ghostbusters II, but it wasn't as simple to just call it Ghostbusters III, since the 2016 female-led reboot was released as well. In any event, the previously revealed Ghostbusters 2020 title appears to have been ditched somewhere along the way.

Odds are, if the trailer is coming sometime within the next week or so, we'll see a poster, or perhaps some official photos, dropping online beforehand. At that time, the official title will undoubtedly be revealed.

Whatever the case may be with the title, the important thing is we're going to get our first good look at what this sequel is going to be. We know the movie will center on a new, younger cast led by Finn Wolfhard (Stranger Things) and McKenna Grace (Captain Marvel). Paul Rudd (Ant-Man and the Wasp) and Carrie Coon (Avengers: Infinity War) have also been tapped to star in lead roles. Original cast members such as Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver and Annie Potts are also set to appear. Though, it's not yet clear how significant their roles will be at this time. The movie is also said to pay tribute to Harold Ramis and his character Egon Spengler.

Jason Reitman (Up in the Air), son of original Ghostbusters director Ivan Reitman, is in the director's chair. Reitman co-wrote the screenplay alongside Gil Kenan (Monster House). Ghostbusters 2020, or perhaps Ghostbusters: Afterlife}, is set to hit theaters on July 10. We'll be sure to keep you posted as further details are made available and will bring the trailer your way as soon as it drops, so be sure to stay tuned. This news comes to us via Trailer Track.
