Might we see Giancarlo Esposito return in the fourth season of The Boys? As it stands, the status of his character, Stan Edgar, is unclear. The character had served as the head of Vought International since the start of the series, but he might have set up his own downfall by running afoul of Homelander (Antony Starr). In a series that's very unpredictable, it seems possible Esposito could return as Stan in the next season, but it hasn't been confirmed one way or another if he will be involved.

Speaking about the situation in a chat with TVLine, Esposito stops short of confirming or denying any such rumors of a possible return in season 4. However, he does seem to strongly suggest that Stan's return is more likely than not, noting that there's a "great chance" that we see the character once again. As the actor explains:

“I find The Boys to be a very creepy, interesting, edgy, and sick show — in the best way possible. It’s genius. And… I won’t string it out any more: I think there is a great chance."
