The creator of the hit CW series Gilmore Girls will bring her mother-daughter dramatics to HBO. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Gilmore Girls creator Amy Sherman-Palladino has lined up a new series at HBO.

The series will return to her mother-daughter wheelhouse, revolving around three adult sissters who all live in the same New York City apartment building along with their mother, who shows more affection towards their no-good brother.

"It's a story of love, hate, family -- and finding the perfect opening line," Sherman-Palladino said.

The series will be Sherman-Palladino's first at a cable network. No production schedule was released.
