Glenn Close, James Franco, and Brit Marling have signed on to star in The Grace That Keeps This World for director Azazel Jacobs (Terri).

The story follows a father and his sons who are preparing for their hunting trip. Their lives are upended when a young environmental cop begins investigating hunting violations, and secrets are revealed that may tear this family apart. No details were given for any of the actors' characters.

Matthew Aldrich wrote the screenplay, adapted from the novel written by Tom Bailey. Alix Madigan and Jewerl Ross are producing alongside Matthew Aldrich. No production schedule was given at this time.

Matthew Aldrich burst onto the scene last year when a bidding war erupted for his screenplay Father Daughter Time: A Tale of Armed Robbery and Eskimo Kisses, which currently has Matt Damon and John Krasinski attached to star.
