Ever since it was announced that Matthew Vaughn would be adapting Mark Millar's Kick-Ass to film, the project has received a great deal of attention, with high-profile stars flocking to the movie, which is currently in the later part of filming in London. The first set-report from the film has now appeared, courtesy of Ain't It Cool News, and the report talks a great deal about the "superheroic" outfits worn by the film's main cast.

The bulk of the article is made up of describing the outfits being worn by Chris Mintz-Plasse as Red Mist, Aaron Johnson as Kick-Ass, Chloe Moretz as Hit-Girl and Nicolas Cage as Big-Daddy. From the description, it sounds like the comic pages, written by Millar and illustrated by John Romita Jr. have been faithfully brought to life by Matthew Vaughn and company. Furthermore, it seems like everyone involved in the film really gets the idea behind what they're doing with the film, and fully embraces the concepts.
