According to Home Media Retailing, The Godfather DVD Collection is being rereleased on March 21st, 2006 the same day as the Electronic Arts video game of the movie hits shelves.

The big difference with the new Godfather DVD Collection, which is the same collection that was previously released back in 2001, is that there will be an extra disc to bring up people’s awareness about the new video game in which players can virtually join the Corleone family. Actors such as Robert Duvall and James Caan have voiced their characters in the game.

People who buy the game can get $10 off (using a mail-in rebate) The Godfather DVD Collection.

The extra disc that comes with the DVD collection “will feature 12-minute extended gameplay trailers that take a look at the opening of the game and describe the core features” as well as featurettes about how the game was made.
