Tonight, award season got off to a grand start as The 76th annual Golden Globes winners were announced from Hollywood. There were some big surprises in almost every category, with no clear cut favorites before the big night even began.

Sandra Oh and Andy Samberg were first time hosts for 2019 Golden Globes Awards. Each award was chosen by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, an organization consists of 90 journalists from 55 countries, with a readership of 250 million people. Unlike the Oscars, each winner is chosen from voters across the world, so some foreign favorites definitely got a leg up when it came time to decide who was going home with the big prize.

You can take a look at the full list of winners as they are announced. This will be a good indicator of who will be nominated and who will win when it comes time for the Academy to dole out the Oscars in just a few weeks.
