Finally, Kurt and Goldie are back together on screen. After appearing together in Swing Shift and Overboard, the couple will once again reunite for the comedy Ashes to Ashes.

The couple arrived at Cannes on Sunday to talk about the film. According to Variety, Kurt was also there to support his work in the cult flick Grindhouse.

Ashes to Ashes revolves around a woman, to be played by Hawn, who loses her husband's ashes while traveling to India to bury them. There is no word on what part Russell will play.

This will be Goldie's directorial film debut. The project has been a longtime passion of the actress, who has already directed a number of TV movies.

Producer Michel Shane stated, "Goldie and Kurt have the type of energetic chemistry that really elevates a film. Goldie has a brilliant vision for the film that translates into a hybrid love story with a comedic edge only she can provide."

Pre-production will begin this fall. The movie will shoot in New York and India.
