The cast of Gotham made their second appearance at New York Comic-Con this weekend! During the NYCC panel, Robin Taylor announced that Paul Reubens has signed on to play Oswald Cobblepot's father, Tucker Cobblepot. Ironically, this will be the second time the actor has played this role, after his appearance as The Penguin's father in the 1992 movie Batman Returns. While it hasn't been confirmed when The Penguin's dad will make his debut, Robin Taylor revealed during the panel that he will pop up very soon.

"He will be showing up very soon. Pee-Wee Herman is playing my dad! What the hell? Oh my god!"

Emmy Award winner Paul Reubens created the iconic character "Pee-wee Herman" while a member of the famed Los Angeles improv group The Groundlings. The live stage production "The Pee-wee Herman Show" premiered in 1981, followed by the hit film Pee-wee's Big Adventure and TV series Pee-wee's Playhouse, which earned 22 Emmy® Awards during its five-year run. In 2010, Reubens produced, co-wrote and starred in "The Pee-wee Herman Show" at LA Live's Club Nokia and then on Broadway. The film Pee-wee's Big Holiday is scheduled for release in March 2016. Reubens has appeared on a number of TV series, including The Blacklist, Portlandia, 30 Rock, Pushing Daisies, Reno 911!, Everybody Loves Raymond, Family Guy and Murphy Brown. His film credits include Mystery Men, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Blow, Life During Wartime, The Nightmare Before Christmas and The Smurfs.

Tomorrow night's episode, Strike Force, will introduce fans to a brand new character, Michael Chiklis' Captain Barnes, who is called to duty to create a law-abiding task force, with the help of Gordon (Ben McKenzie). Meanwhile, Penguin (Robin Taylor) gets caught up in a favor for Galavan (James Frain), and Nygma (Cory Michael Smith) asks Kringle (guest star Chelsea Spack) out on a date in the all-new Strike Force episode of Gotham airing Monday, Oct. 12 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on Fox.

Robin Taylor also revealed at the panel that all of the show's villains will start interacting with each other this season, which isn't surprising since this season is officially titled Rise of the Villains. He also teased that Cory Michael Smith's Riddler will have a "big storyline" this season, since he starts to become obsessed with The Penguin. Many fans are still reeling from the death of Cameron Monaghan's Jerome, a character who many thought would become the future Joker, but as it turns out, his death actually inspires the legacy of this beloved villain. Executive producer John Stephens teased that fans may have not seen the last of Jerome, even after his untimely death.
