Fox keeps introducing fans to the main Gotham characters one featurette at a time, with today's video highlighting James Gordon, following /gotham-tv-show-preview-penguin/The Penguin and Fish Mooney introductions earlier this week.
Series star Ben McKenzie reveals that Gordon is fresh out of the military, returning to his hometown of Gotham for the first time in more than a decade, as he comes to grips with how the city has changed. Series creator Bruno Heller reveals that the show changes up Gordon's comic book origin, where he and his partner Harvey Bullock (Donal Logue) are the ones who investigate the murders of Thomas and Martha Wayne, parents of eventual Batman Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz).
