Following a new trailer that debuted earlier this week, which teased the debut of Milo Ventimiglia's Ogre, Fox has released a new featurette for Gotham, which gives us more insight into Cory Michael Smith's character Edward Nygma, a.k.a. The Riddler. Throughout Season 1, we've watched as Edward has tried to befriend Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) and Harvey Bullock (Donal Logue), while trying to express his love for Ms. Kringle (Chelsea Spack). Cory Michael Smith reveals in this featurette that we start to see a darker side to Edward, as he realizes that he can only truly depend on himself.

The series returns from a six-week hiatus with "Beasts of Prey", which centers on Gordon and Bullock investigating a cold case involving the Ogre, a serial killer who targets young women in Gotham City. Meanwhile, Fish plots her escape from the Dollmaker, and Bruce and Selina confront Reggie in the all-new episode of Gotham airing Monday, April 13 (8:00-9:00 ET/PT) on Fox. "Beasts of Prey" is the first of the show's final four episodes, leading up to the season finale on May 4.
