Villains, we love to hate them. A hero wouldn't have anything or anyone to save if it weren't for villains. The evildoers belong to a world that caused them pain. Searching for their feelings, they find the means to share their pain instead. Other foes don't need a sob story to hurt others. Self-interest, lackeys, and the drive to dominate those who oppose them are the only incentives villains need. The 1990s had a variety of villainy, from the silly to the sinister.
