Temuera Morrison, perhaps best known as Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones' Jango Fett, appears as Abin Sur in director Martin Campbell's upcoming DC Comics adaptation Green Lantern. Abin Sur is Hal Jordan's predecessor. His spaceship crashes on earth, and before he dies, he sends out his ring looking for a replacement.
