Gregor Jordan, the guy who directed Ned Kelly, is getting ready to direct the ensemble drama The Informers.

The script is being adapted from Bret Easton Ellis' 1995 novel of the same name. The book was a collection of short stories that revolved around Hollywood in the year 1983. According to Variety, chapter subjects included movie executives, rock stars, and a vampire. The tales were drenched in sex and violence.

Ellis himself has written the adaptation. The movie begins shooting this summer.
