Earlier today, Bradley Cooper, who voices Rocket Raccoon in last year's blockbuster Guardians of the Galaxy, seemingly dropped a huge spoiler about the upcoming sequel Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. However, shortly after the story broke, director James Gunn revealed that the actor didn't actually spoil anything, since the actor hasn't read the script yet. Over the weekend, another Guardians of the Galaxy star, Vin Diesel, revealed that he has received the script for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, which came with a CD of songs that will be included in the sequel's soundtrack, Awesome Mix Vol. 2. Here's what the actor had to say on his Facebook video, where he showed his CD that say Awesome Mix Vol. 2., and teased that dancing will be a "big part" of the story.

"This is the only time I ever get a script that comes with a CD. I'm doing this live, while I'm literally on page 93. I can see why my son is so excited about this. James Gunn is such a great writer. I read the script and I go, 'You're a great director, and you're this good a writer too?' No wonder Marvel is so excited about what you're doing. No wonder why Marvel can't wait to see Guardians of the Galaxy 2. It'sone of those page-turners, you cannot put the script down. Dancing is such a big part of this Guardians of the Galaxy script."

Unfortunately, Vin Diesel wouldn't divulge any specific details about the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 story, but his tidbit about dancing doesn't come as a terribly huge surprise. Early on in the first Guardians of the Galaxy, fans were treated to Chris Pratt's dance moves to Redbone's "Come and Get Your Love," before Star-Lord came across a mysterious orb. The cosmic adventure also showed Star-Lord distracting Ronan the Accuser (Lee Pace) with even more dance moves in a climactic dance off, which helped him and the rest of the Guardians defeat their nemesis.

There is still much we don't know about the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 story, but writer-director James Gunn did confirm early on that the sequel will reveal who Star-Lord's father is. Naturally, the father's identity hasn't been revealed yet, but the filmmaker has clarified that it won't be J'son, Peter Quill's father from the original Marvel Comics. And, since the director said earlier today that Bradley Cooper didn't spoil any plot details in a recent interview, it seems we can cross the Mad Titan himself, Thanos, off the list of candidates for Quill's father...Or can we?

Production is slated to begin this coming February in Atlanta, with Marvel already setting a May 5, 2017 release date for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. Do you have any theories about how dancing will become an integral part of the story for this superhero sequel? Or do you have any theories as to what songs may be included on Awesome Mix Vol. 2? Let us know what you think, and stay tuned for more on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 as we get closer and closer to production starting early next year.
