Just yesterday, James Gunn revealed that he had completed the /guardians-galaxy-2-script-james-gunn/Guardians of the Galaxy 2 script, though he refused to share the full title or any of the story elements at play. Now, with star of the movie Chris Pratt on his Jurassic World press tour, we get to hear a little bit more about plans for the sequel. While he doesn't divulge anything major, Chris Pratt does say the story made him weep with joy. He also reveals that he knows what will be on the Awesome Mix Part 2. He says:

"I know some of the songs that are going to be on Awesome Mix 2...I will say that [James Gunn]'s pitch and his idea legitimately put tears in my eyes. It is so good, it's so good. And I cannot wait to get started on it and I cannot wait for people to see what he's going to pull off with the second movie. It's so, so big and so good. From what I understand, they were like, heard it at Marvel and they said nothing. They're like, "perfect." There was no micromanaging of the idea, they just love it so much they didn't even have a note for it. It's going to be remarkable."

He went onto encourage fans and Digital Spy readers to stay away from spoilers as much as possible. This is a movie you will want to see knowing very little about. But is it even possible to stay that fresh before opening night? The actor goes onto say:

"All I can tell you, because I obviously, I'm not allowed to tell anybody anything, nor would I want to, because it would be a little bit like telling a kid what's under the tree before Christmas morning. I would encourage people not to poke holes in the paper and peek. Allow yourself the Christmas morning. Don't ruin it."

Along with Chris Pratt, the rest of the Guardians will be back for Guardians of the Galaxy 2, including Dave Bautista (Drax), Zoe Saldana (Gamora), Vin Diesel (Groot) and Bradley Cooper (Rocket Raccoon). And we're expecting at least one new member will be added to the team, though the identity of that Marvel character has yet to be revealed. Production begins in February 2016, with the movie set to hit theaters summer 2017. Is anyone else excited?
