During Marvel Studios' Hall H panel at Comic-Con this summer, the studio released the first trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, although the footage still hasn't been released to the public quite yet. Today we have word that the British Board of Film Classification has rated the first trailer for this Marvel sequel, which likely means we'll see it arriving very soon. While we don't have confirmation of when it may arrive quite yet, it's possible we may see it within the next week.

The British Board of Film Classification website reveals that the trailer clocks in at one minute and 29 seconds. While the BBFC doesn't specify when it may be released, Marvel's highly-anticipated Doctor Strange debuts in the U.K. exactly one week from today, October 25, ahead of the domestic release on November 4, so it's certainly possible this footage may arrive online within the next week, either ahead of or after the theatrical premiere in the U.K. None of this is confirmed by Marvel Studios yet, but it certainly makes sense that it will be released soon.

Marvel still hasn't reveled any official plot details, but the Comic-Con trailer confirmed that Kurt Russell is in fact portraying Star-Lord's father, Ego the Living Planet. Fans had speculated for months who Star-Lord's father would be, with writer-director James Gunn only confirming that Star-Lord's dad won't be the same character as it was in the comics, J'son. The reveal of Ego the Living Planet as the father was quite surprising, although Ego revealed in the trailer that he created a human form for himself.

James Gunn also recently confirmed that there will be no Infinity Stones revealed in this sequel. There are only two Infinity Stones that have yet to be revealed in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, one of which is most likely the Eye of Agamotto in Doctor Strange. Marvel hasn't confirmed when the final Infinity Stones will be unveiled, but it's possible that the final stone will be revealed in Thor: Ragnarok, which hits theaters on November 3, 2017.

The Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 cast is lead by Chris Pratt as Star-Lord, Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Bradley Cooper as Rocket Raccoon and Vin Diesel as Groot. New cast members include Kurt Russell as Ego the Living Planet, Star-Lord's father, Elizabeth Debicki as Ayesha, Pom Klementieff as Mantis, Chris Sullivan as Taserface and Tommy Flanagan as Tullk. Hopefully Marvel will confirm the first Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 trailer debut soon.
