Dave Bautista says Chris Hemsworth would be the "perfect fit" for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Bautista's Drax the Destroyer was pretty enamored with Hemsworth's Thor when they first met at the beginning of Infinity War. "It's like a pirate and an angel had a baby," said Drax when he saw the God of Thunder for the first time. Chris Pratt's Star-Lord wasn't so sure and he remains to see Thor as a threat over the leadership of the Benatar at the conclusion of Endgame.

Now that Marvel Cinematic Universe fans have seen Chris Hemsworth team up with the Guardians of the Galaxy more than once, they're hoping he'll be involved in the upcoming third installment. In a new interview, Dave Bautista shares the excitement with fans and wants Hemsworth on board too. When asked about the possibility, Dave Bautista had this to say.

"Yeah! Absolutely. If we can all do Infinity War and Endgame together... It was a who's who there, and there were no issues. It was pretty amazing to see. That's a trickle-down thing. That comes from the top. Marvel set the tone for an environment, and that's what the environment is. I think they take all those things into consideration when people are being hired, and it was incredible to see a who's who of Hollywood, all interacting together in a very pleasant atmosphere. There were no egos; there was no ego-clashing or attitude. If there was, I didn't witness it. I think Chris Hemsworth is a great guy; he's a fun-loving Aussie. He is what you'd expect him to be. He's very funny, pleasant and upbeat. He's very social, so I think that would be a perfect fit to be honest with you. I think Hemsworth is hysterical."

When asked about joining the cast of Guardians of the Galaxy 3, Chris Hemsworth revealed he would definitely be interested. However, much like what Dave Bautista had to say about the matter, it has to come from Marvel Studios and they may have other ideas about where to take the God of Thunder next. But, it's already set up so perfectly for Thor to be hanging out with the Guardians again after leaving new Asgard with them at the conclusion of Endgame.

Thor has a similar backstory to the Guardians crew in that they all have heartbreaking tales of loss and trauma. The character fits right in and found a new friend in Rocket Raccoon, who will reportedly have a much larger part in Guardians of the Galaxy 3. Thanks to Ragnarok, Thor fits in even better with the Guardians and their sense of humor, which James Gunn helped to keep going in Infinity War and Endgame.

Will Chris Hemsworth end up starring in Guardians of the Galaxy 3? For now, that's the big mystery. Marvel Studios may want to shy away from the big team up movies after the epic success of Endgame, but stranger things have happened.
