Director James Gunn briefly spoke about the character's look in Guardians of the Galaxy, and how Djimon Hounsou brought the perfect level of "humaneness" to the role.

"When we saw how he looked in the makeup, with the blue eyes and the metal coming out of the head, we were blown away. Besides, Djimon brings a humanness to the part, which was needed."

Djimon Hounsou also described his fighting style in the movie as, "a martial arts mixture of wrestling and boxing." While we haven't seen much of the character in the trailers and TV spots, aside from his humorous encounter with Chris Pratt's Star-Lord, fans will see much more of Korath the Pursuer when Guardians of the Galaxy hits theaters on August 1.
