Currently without a title, Guy Ritchie's upcoming film will see him at the helm as director, writer, and producer alongside his partner Ivan Atkinson, and John Friedberg of Black Bear International, who also worked on Ritchie's two previous films. Stars officially cast for the movie so far include three of Ritchie's recent collaborators. Henry Cavill previously worked with Ritchie on his 2015 spy film The Man From U.N.C.L.E, and will co-star with Eiza González on the director's other upcoming spy action flick The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare. Jake Gyllenhaal, the third entry to the cast, also starred in Ritchie's recent wartime action thriller The Covenant.

The three of them will lead the charge on this new project which is slated to be another spy action flick in Ritchie's repertoire, this time with a very, very substantial budget. Specifics of the plot and the project's potential title are being kept mostly under lock and key for now, but so far we know that the premise will revolve around two extraction specialists who must plan a flawless escape route for a high-profile female negotiator. This could already hint at whom the three actors will likely be cast as, though not yet confirmed. Ritchie had this to say about what to expect from the film:

“There’s something special that happens when you collaborate with the same partners regularly: you build a shorthand and a trust that lets everybody do their best work. Jake, Henry and Eiza are all astonishingly talented, committed, and engaging actors. This is going to be an action-packed movie that is both intellectually stimulating and physically exhilarating.”

No other casting announcements have been made for the film as of yet, as well as no preliminary release date. Production is set to begin this summer in Spain. Black Bear International is currently shopping the film around at Cannes.

Eiza González will appear in Benioff and Weiss' Three Body Problem series for Netflix, and join Ritchie and Cavill in The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare.
