Writer/director Shana Feste has nabbed Gwyneth Paltrow and country superstar Tim McGraw for her upcoming Nashville-based drama Love Don't Let Me Down. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Garrett Hedlund and Leighton Meester are also set to star in the project, which Tobey Maguire and Jenno Topping are producing through their Maguire Entertainment banner.

Hedlund is set to play a young rising singer-songwriter who becomes involved with a fallen country singer played by Paltrow. They embark on a career resurrection tour with her husband-manager (McGraw) and a beauty queen-turned-singer (Meester). Romantic entanglements and old demons threaten to derail them all.

Production will begin January 2010 in Nashville.
