Dimension Films has yanked the horror sequel Halloween 3D out of its original October 26, 2012 release date, with the project now listed as simply "TBA."

We haven't heard much on this horror sequel since last June, when Dimension first announced the project would be released on October 26, 2012. The Drive Angry duo of director Patrick Lussier and writer Todd Farmer were previously attached to the project, but it isn't known if they are still involved.

Ironically, that announcement from last June also indicated Scary Movie 5, another movie which hasn't started shooting yet, would be released on April 13, 2012. The studio recently shifted Scary Movie 5 to a January 11, 2013 release.
