With the newest addition to the Halloween franchise quickly approaching, it's time to take a look back at some of the best kills in the various movies in this massive series. In total, there are 13 movies, except Halloween III isn't technically part of the franchise, breaking the fourth wall with a commercial for the original Halloween playing at a bar. Throughout the movies, Michael seems to get more ruthless through every single one, becoming more unhinged as he kills more and more people. What started off as him murdering his own sister, has developed into one of the most successful horror franchises in the world. Michael Myers is the ultimate slasher, so it's only right to give him a list of his best kills.

Annie - Halloween (1978)

Halloween
Compass International Pictures

To start this list off, we have to explore the death of Annie, one of the best friends of Laurie Strode. She's a not-so-great babysitter, doesn't really know how to make homemade popcorn properly, and tragically gets strangled to death by Michael. Before that, she gets stuck in the laundry room and viewers get the idea that she's definitely going to be killed, but it's dragged out, as she makes it to the car and prepares to leave without any pants on. She's choked out before Michael moves her body to the bedroom for Laurie to find, thus furthering the trauma our final girl goes through. Nancy Kyes, who plays Annie, appeared in Halloween III as an entirely different character, which could be confusing to some people, but wasn't really talked about.

Bob - Halloween (1978)

Halloween
Compass International Pictures

Bob, in comparison to Annie in the same movie, has an intense death. Bob heads down to the kitchen of a house that isn't his, unsuspecting and vulnerable as he looks for beer, and of course, Michael Myers comes up on him and beats him down. The two struggle for a bit until Myers gets the upper hand, and stabs Bob through the chest, nailing him to the wall with his feet dangling in the air. Viewers watch as the life leaves his body, and he's killed, Myers becoming a bit creepy (more than usual) and acting like Bob as he returns to the bedroom where Lynda is waiting for him. As stated by Fandom, the death of Lynda, Bob, and Annie kick-started the spree of death in Haddonfield.

Nurse Karen - Halloween II (1981)

Universal Pictures

Michael starts to get more creative in the sequel to the first Halloween with his kills, and poor nurse Karen gets the brunt of it. After abandoning her post of watching the newborn babies at the hospital, she decides to take a bath with one of the other nurses, who is equally irresponsible. When the water starts to become too hot, thanks to Michael, they both become concerned, but it's too late. Nurse Karen, like all of his victims, is vulnerable as she dries off, not expecting the slasher to come up on her, but he does, and she's continuously dunked in the boiling water. It happens over and over again, her face melting off more each time, until she succumbs to the pain and dies.

Oscar - Halloween (2018)

universal pictures

After taking a shortcut home with Allyson and trying to kiss her, Oscar is left by himself when Myers comes. He's stabbed by Michael before he manages to escape, running to Allyson for help, but she doesn't believe him, still clearly creeped out by the kiss attempt. Oscar tries to jump a (very pointy) fence and his cape to his Halloween costume gets caught in it, leading him to struggle before Michael appears once again and attacks. Oscar is stabbed one again and then impaled on the spikes.

Little John and Big John - Halloween Kills (2019)

Big John and Little John in Halloween Kills
Universal Pictures

In Halloween Kills it's revealed that the Myers house was bought by two individuals, Little John and Big John. They've revamped it, made it their own, and they end up dying inside of it. Big John gets the worst of it, as Michael forces his thumbs into his eyes and crushes them; the audience watching in horror as his gooey eyes slide down his face. Cinema Blend states that the couple was surprisingly beloved by fans of the movie, many stating that Big John and Little John made the gory film that much more enjoyable.

The Firefighter Massacre - Halloween Kills (2019)

Universal Pictures

Viewers watched in shock, horror, and slight confusion as Michael Myers took on a team of firefighters and won. He's ruthless as he turns their weapons on them, stronger and more resilient than them as he mows them down one-by-one. This massacre of firefighters proves (if it wasn't already clear) that Michael Myers isn't human, he's immortal, and refuses to die.

Cameron - Halloween Kills (2019)

cameron halloween
Universal Pictures

Cameron, the boyfriend of Allyson, has the best death in the franchise (so far). Cameron's death is really drawn out, and almost too long, as Allyson is forced to watch her somewhat ex-boyfriend get killed in front of her. Moments before that, however, he finds his father's dead body and Michael is relentless as he attacks Cameron right after the reveal. Michael bashes Cameron's head into the stairwell, then the banister, and when Cameron proves to still be alive, Michael snaps his neck through a piece of broken stairwell. Cameron dies slowly and painfully, trying his best to redeem himself with Allyson, but in the end it doesn't pan out in the way he expected.
