A new TV spot for the upcoming horror outing Halloween Ends finds Michael Myers recreating one of his most iconic kills. Shared to YouTube by user chefhawk, this latest footage further teases the final battle between The Shape and Laurie Strode, with the unstoppable killer clearly feeling nostalgic as he nails another victim to a wall much like he did way back in the first Halloween. You can check out the TV spot for Halloween Ends below.

Halloween Ends will pick up four years after the events of last year's Halloween Kills, with Laurie now living with her granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) and working on her memoir. Michael Myers hasn't been seen since. Laurie, after allowing the specter of Michael to determine and drive her reality for decades, has decided to liberate herself from fear and rage and embrace life. But when a young man, Corey Cunningham (Rohan Campbell; The Hardy Boys, Virgin River), is accused of killing a boy he was babysitting, it ignites a cascade of violence and terror that will force Laurie to finally confront the evil she can't control, once and for all.

Halloween Ends will see Jamie Lee Curtis portray Laurie Strode for the last time. Something that the slasher sequel knows is a big deal. Universal Pictures describes Halloween Ends thusly, "After 45 years, the most acclaimed, revered horror franchise in film history reaches its epic, terrifying conclusion as Laurie Strode faces off for the last time against the embodiment of evil, Michael Myers, in a final confrontation unlike any captured on-screen before. Only one of them will survive. Icon Jamie Lee Curtis returns for the last time as Laurie Strode, horror's first 'final girl' and the role that launched Curtis' career. Curtis has portrayed Laurie for more than four decades now, one of the longest actor-character pairings in cinema history. When the franchise relaunched in 2018, Halloween shattered box office records, becoming the franchise's highest-grossing chapter and set a new record for the biggest opening weekend for a horror film starring a woman.”

Curtis has described how it felt to say goodbye to the role that launched her career, saying, "I realized that would be the last time I ever saw Laurie Strode. It was very powerful for me. I wept. David wept. We all recognized that moment, that it was the wrap for Laurie Strode and me. And this community of artists who made these movies. It was a big deal."

While this may be the end of Laurie, Halloween creator John Carpenter does not believe that Halloween Ends will be the last time we see Michael Myers. "I didn't expect there to be a sequel [to Halloween ‘78]. The movie business is ruled by money,” the legendary filmmaker said. “[The first] Halloween made so much money, here they came again, the same guys [saying], 'Hey John, let's do another one.' I guarantee you if Halloween Ends makes a lot of money, guess what? Just guess what."

Halloween Ends is scheduled to be released on October 14, 2022, by Universal Pictures and will also stream simultaneously on paid tiers of Peacock for 60 days.
