The first official poster for the upcoming TV series Halo was recently revealed by Paramount+. The very first poster arrived on the same evening when the first trailer was revealed during this year's The Game Awards. The upcoming live-action TV adaptation of the iconic Xbox video game series Halo teases another look at Pablo Schreiber’s Master Chief. You can take a look at the brand new poster below.

The first (and hopefully not the last) poster for the upcoming series gives fans a much closer look at the armor of Master Chief. Although there really isnt much else to see on the brand new poster, it seems that the character is located in a desert area. The backgorund of the poster only reveals a mountain, and what seems to be a moon, or possibly a whole other plant in the sky. If you still haven't watched the recent trailer for the upcoming TV series, you can check it out below.

What seems to be interesting about the recenlty released poster above, is that Master Chief is actually posing with his helmet in hand. In the first official teaser of the upcoming Halo TV series, it actually revealed brief glimpses of the character without his armor, before going ahead and putting on it completely. For those that are familiar with the Halo video games, Master Chief has never really been the one to take off his helmet quite often. It sort now seems that we'll probably be seeing Master Chief without his helmet at some points throughout the first season. You can check out the first teaser clip of the Halo TV series below.

Halo is an upcoming American live-action military science fiction television series based on the video game franchise of the same name. The current synopsis for the series reveals that it will follow "an epic 26th-century conflict between humanity and an alien threat known as the Covenant. Halo will weave deeply drawn personal stories with action, adventure, and a richly imagined vision of the future." The Halo series will star Pablo Schreiber as Master Chief Petty Officer John-117, Natascha McElhone as Dr. Catherine Halsey (a scientist for the UNSC, and creator of the Spartan-II Project), Yerin Ha as Kwan Ha, Charlie Murphy as Makee, Shabana Azmi as Admiral Margaret Parangosky (Director of ONI), Bokeem Woodbine as Soren-066, Olive Gray as Miranda Keyes, Kate Kennedy as Kai-125, Natasha Culzac as Riz-028, Bentley Kalu as Vannal-134, Danny Sapani as Captain Jacob Keyes, and Jen Taylor as Cortana (an artificial intelligence AI construct).

With the newest trailer and poster still not revealing an exact release date, Halo is still on track to premiere on Paramount+ sometime in 2022. The upcoming television series will consist of a total of 9 episodes with roughly 50-60 minute runtimes. Currently, Halo has an estimated budget of $200 million, with episodes being directed by Otto Bathurst, Jonathan Liebesman, M.J. Bassett, Roel Reine, and Jet Wilkinson. There are reportedly already talks for a second season, but the series has not been given a green light as of yet.
