We were first teased with the trailer for Solo: A Star Wars Story at the beginning of February and now the promotional campaign is in full swing. Moviegoers are in for an extra special treat because Lucasfilm has just sent out the Millennium Falcon promo standees and they have to be seen to be believed. Deadpool 2's standees were also recently released, and many thought that it was pretty clever, but this Millennium Falcon puts the big "D" to shame and probably any other promotional standees ever released.

Lucasfilm released a video of a crew assembling the massive Millennium Falcon standee on the official Star Wars Twitter account earlier today. It's sped up time lapse video and shows just how much work goes into constructing the cockpit of the fastest ship in the galaxy. Fans will be able to sit in the cockpit with Alden Ehrenreich's young Han Solo, Chewbacca, Donald Glover's Lando Calrissian, Emilia Clarke's Qi'ra, and Woody Harrelson's Tobias Beckett for a pretty epic photo opportunity.

Solo: A Star Wars Story hits theaters on May 25th and some of the skepticism surrounding the movie has started to dissipate now that we've finally seen some footage. Hardcore Star Wars fans are still a little worried about Alden Ehrenreich's young Han Solo since the footage really doesn't show off too much. However, those very same fans would more than likely be equally as bummed that the trailer showed off too much if there were some more footage of Ehrenreich. Donald Glover looks incredibly solid as the cool and mysterious young Lando and we're still trying to piece together the relationship between young Han Solo and all of these characters.

As far as the relationship between Qi'ra and Han Solo, Michael K. Williams shed some light on his version of the Dryden Vos character, which was cut out and replaced with Paul Bettany. Williams alluded to a weird "love triangle" between Vos, Qi'ra, and Han Solo. He had this to say.

"He was half mountain lion, half human. He was extremely sophisticated. Very rich. He'd been around the world, older guy, and it was sort of a love triangle between Emilia Clarke's character, Qi'ra, and the young Han Solo. Not where it was overtly a love triangle, but there was definitely a pissing contest going on for the girl's attention. And (Vos) is old and (Han) is younger, so it was that thing also going on, like Young buck, I've been around the world. But he's like the young chick wants the young buck. So, there was a little bit of that energy going on. But the relationship on paper was definitely with Qi'ra and Han Solo."

Michael K. Williams' Dryden Vos character sounds a lot like Paul Bettany's version, but without the "half mountain lion" part. It's not clear if this section was written out when Williams wasn't able to come back for reshoots, but it seems logical that the personality would remain the same along with his chemistry with the rest of the characters.

The wait is nearly over for the Solo movie and if the new Millennium Falcon standee is any indication of how good the movie will be, we're in for a treat, or at least a really cool promotional standee at the very least. Ron Howard is continuing to tease little bits of information through social media, but nothing substantial has been revealed at this time. While we wait for Solo: A Star Wars Story to hit theaters, check out the new video of the Millennium Falcon standee being constructed below, thanks to the official Star Wars Twitter account.
