In a story from The Hollywood Reporter, Hannover House has paid about $2 million for director Joel Schumacher's Twelve at The Sundance Film Festival.

The story follows a high school dropout-turned-drug dealer. His lucrative life sours when the dealer's cousin is brutally murdered on an East Harlem playground and his best friend is arrested for the crime. It is going to play Friday as the festival's closing feature.

The film is narrated by Kiefer Sutherland and stars Chace Crawford, Emma Roberts, Ellen Barkin, Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson and Rory Culkin.

Hannover House will release Twelve later this year.
