The big shocker will be if Harrison Ford is not in Star Wars: Episode VII at this point. After much speculation and rumor, the actor himself gave a pretty clear confirmation that he is returning as Han Solo in Star Wars: Episode VII while talking to the press in Chicago.

Disney and Lucasfilm hasn't released the official cast for Star Wars: Episode VII yet, but George Lucas, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and countless others in the media have all but staked their life on the original cast returning for this sequel to the original Star Wars trilogy. Now the somewhat reclusive Harrison Ford has also said what we've been hearing all along.

I think it's almost true. I'm looking forward to it. It's not in the bag yet, but I think it's happening."

Disney and Lucasfilm have reportedly been saving the official casting announcement for a special occasion. The surprise is pretty much out in the open now, and should have been confirmed by the studio much sooner. It isn't yet known how big of a role the original cast will have, or if they will be just glorified cameos.

There is no word on when Disney or Lucasfilm will make the announcement official.
