The Expendables 3 franchise creator and star Sylvester Stallone took to his Twitter account today to reveal that Harrison Ford has joined the cast, while Bruce Willis has left the franchise, after starring in The Expendables and The Expendables 2 as Church. Just minutes later, he posted another tweet that appeared to be aimed at Bruce Willis, chiding him for leaving the franchise.

Harrison Ford confirmed for The Expendables 3At this time, confirmed cast members include {8}, {9}, {10}, alongside professional fighters {11} and {12}. {13}, {14} and {15} have been in talks to join the cast for some time now, but their involvement has not been confirmed either.

Patrick Hughes is directing from a screenplay by Sylvester Stallone and Richard Wenk. It isn't known when production will begin.

Harrison Ford will next be seen in Relativity Media's Paranoia, opening August 16, and later this fall in Ender's Game (November 1) and Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues (December 20).
