It seems that the power of Grayskull does not compell Warner Bros. According to Latino Review, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe is apparently a dead project at Warner Bros.

The site's sources claim that the studio, "simply doesn't get the property and wasn't high on it to begin with," and that when directors Bryan Singer and Doug Liman passed on the project, which was being set up at Silver Pictures, the film was essentially dead.

Another factor in the film's demise was the departure of Silver Pictures exec Navid McIIhargey who was shepherding the project through the studio. The film was written by Justin Marks and it is unclear if the property will be shopped around elsewhere in the Hollywood system.
