It seems that Michael Bay and his Platinum Dunes production company are moving into the action world with their latest pick-up. Variety is reporting that Paramount and Platinum Dunes are teaming up for Heat Seekers.

George Mahaffey wrote the script on spec and, although the plotline was being kept under wraps, it was said the film was an action vehicle. Bay and his Platinum Dunes company are known for their horror remakes, including A Nightmare on Elm Street, which arrives in theaters this Friday.

Bay will produce alongside Platinum Dunes producers Brad Fuller and Andrew Form. No director is attached at this time as well.
