The New York Film Festival announced today that Clint Eastwood's upcoming film Hereafter will be the closing film of The 48th New York Film Festival, which will run from September 24 through October 10.

The closing night gala screening will take place on October 10, just 12 days before the film is set to hit theaters on October 22. Tickets for the festival go on sale on September 12 and the festival has also announced its complete film schedule for the event, which you can see below.
