Heroes Reborn has added yet another original cast member, with Jimmy Jean-Louis set to reprise his role as The Haitian. He is the trusted associate of Noah Bennet, who is taking on a new group of everyday people discovered to have extraordinary gifts. This is the third original Heroes character announced for the upcoming event series reboot.

Also appearing from the original NBC series are Jack Coleman as the previously mentioned Noah, and fan favorite Masi Oka as Hiro Makamura. The Haitian appeared on all four seasons of the first series. He was often tasked with erasing people's memories. His super abilities included being able to stop the powers of other gifted individuals in his nearby vicinity.

Tim Kring, who was the driving force behind Heroes in 2006, returns to executive produce this latest iteration of the saga. The show is slated to launch in the fall, and has already set newcomer and Chuck alum Zachary Levi as its leading man. Jimmy Jean-Louis is certainly no stranger to superheroes, having not only appeared on the original series, but also on The CW's Arrow. He takes on a more grounded, though none the less serious, role in David O. Russell's upcoming biopic Joy, starring Jennifer Lawrence as a struggling Long Island single mom who becomes one of the country's most successful entrepreneurs. It will be in theaters this Christmas.
