The cast of NBC's Heroes Reborn is slowly coming together, with Once Upon a Time star Robbie Kay signing on for an unspecified role in the upcoming event series. He will join original Heroes star Jack Coleman and Zachary Levi, who were both seen in the brief Super Bowl trailer that debuted back in February. Robbie Kay is coming off a turn as the villainous Peter Pan in ABC's Once Upon a Time.

We reported in July that Heroes Reborn will primarily focus on new characters, but no specific story details have been released. Series creator Tim Kring also added in July that Heroes Reborn will be set after the events of the original Heroes, which was canceled in 2010 after a four-season run. We also reported last month that Zachary Quinto, whose breakout performance as Sylar in Heroes helped jump start his career, will not be back for the limited series.

Tim Kring created Heroes Reborn and he will serve as an executive producer with James Middleton and Peter Elkoff. Matt Shalman is directing the pilot episode, although it isn't known when shooting will begin on the series. Robbie Kay's other credits include Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, Made in Dagenham, Ways to Live Forever and Pinocchio. Take a look at a tweet from the official Heroes Reborn Twitter account, welcoming Robbie Kay to the cast.
