Forgive me for this late edition of Surviving the Hiatus but I've been too busy getting pummeled by a wonderful combination of pollen-induced allergy chaos and the unexpected, yet always welcome addition of the flu.

Unfortunately like some cheerleaders I know, I don't have the ability to regenerate healthy cells. Also, regrettably, I can't travel back in time to Monday to post this. I guess we'll just have to make do with what I am good at: spoiling you. If you don't want to be spoiled - GO NO FURTHER.

Okay so Kristen over at E! has given some interesting little insights about Season 2:

She says the next big Heroes death will occur on April 23. "It's the one I've been teasing forever, because originally, it was supposed to happen a little earlier. The Hero who will be killed is a series regular and has an important power that will live on in Sylar."

Movie PictureObviously we're looking at Isaac here. It'll be sad to see him go, but I suppose after the bomb his power won't be that useful, especially if Sylar is using it for his own evil deeds.

Kristen goes on to say we're going to see more backstory for our characters in the future. "Look for lots more Heroic relatives (like Shanti) and family history next season, because I'm told the second season is called Volume Two: Generations, and it's all about the ancestors and descendants of the Heroes we know and love."

Also, NBC has released the titles and plot details for the remaining episodes:

.07% (April 23, 2007)

It also features an event at an upscale gentleman's club.

The Hard Part (May 7, 2007)

No Teaser (yet)

Landslide (May 14, 2007)

Angela Petrelli is forced to play a bigger role in Nathan, Peter, and Claire's life. The truth about the death of Nathan and Peter's father is finally revealed along with his true identity. Also, Sylar is eating another hero's brain.

How to Stop and Exploding Man (May 21, 2007)

In the two-hour season finale, we'll meet a Paris Hilton-like blonde woman in her late 20s, an Asian woman of the same age group, and a male model. Also, Audrey Hanson is set to return this episode. This episode also involves the apocalyptic arc.

Looks like we're in for a thrilling conclusion to the rookie season of Heroes. Got any theories on Papa Petrelli? Is the bomb going to happen? Who else is on the chopping block?
