One of the many amazing moments of The Dark Knight Rises trailer released on Monday, was the Gotham football stadium field collapsing while a player ran for a touchdown. What you may not know is the man running for the touchdown is none other than Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Hines Ward. The NFL football player, and former Dancing with the Stars contestant, recently spoke about his experience on The Dark Knight Rises set.

"I was honored when the producer of the movie asked me to be in it. I have always been a Batman fan. So it was a once in a lifetime experience for me."

While he wouldn't reveal if any of his Steelers teammates are in the movie as well (the scene was shot in the Steelers' home stadium, Heinz Field), he did share his first reaction to seeing the finished trailer.

"It blew me away. I mean to be a part of something that will last forever was amazing. I was truly blessed to be a part of it all."

When asked if he preferred dancing to acting, Hines Ward gave a rather diplomatic response.

"Both are a challenge to me. I loved my time on Dancing with the Stars. I made a lot of great friendships and that show was awesome. I also had a great time doing the movie. So both were great experiences for me."
