While we still have more than four months left until Hitman: Agent 47 hits theaters, IGN has a new poster for this video game adaptation, which is fitting since today is April 7 (4/7), honoring the unnamed hitman's identity. Rupert Friend stars as the title character, who is seen standing in front of, quite literally, a wall of guns. Surely this highly-trained agent won't need all of these weapons to take out his enemies, but it never hurts to be prepared.

Hitman: Agent 47 centers on an elite assassin who was genetically engineered from conception to be the perfect killing machine, and is known only by the last two digits on the barcode tattooed on the back of his neck. He is the culmination of decades of research and forty-six earlier Agent clones -- endowing him with unprecedented strength, speed, stamina and intelligence. His latest target is a mega-corporation that plans to unlock the secret of Agent 47's past to create an army of killers whose powers surpass even his own. Teaming up with a young woman who may hold the secret to overcoming their powerful and clandestine enemies, 47 confronts stunning revelations about his own origins and squares off in an epic battle with his deadliest foe.

The action-thriller is based on the popular video game series of the same name, which was previously adapted into the 2007 feature Hitman starring Timothy Olyphant. The supporting cast of the remake includes Zachary Quinto, Ciarán Hinds, Thomas Kretschmann, Hannah Ware, Emilio Rivera, Dan Bakkedahl and Rolf Kanies. Take a look at the new one-sheet from director Aleksander Bach's action-packed adaptation, arriving in theaters August 28.
