The first Hobbs and Shaw trailer is set to debut during the Super Bowl. Dwayne Johnson confirmed the news in the comments of a new social media post. If that wasn't enough, the actor also revealed that the Fast and Furious spin-off will include Hobbs' brothers, who all live in Western Samoa and run the Hobbs Custom car shop. WWE star Roman Reigns is shown off in the new image, who Johnson previously announced as his brother in the movie. All of this huge news comes after principal photography wrapped over the weekend

Dwayne Johnson shared another image from Hobbs & Shaw this morning and promises that it's "The biggest showdown the Fast and Furious franchise has ever seen." These are pretty bold words, but they're coming from Johnson's mouth and he knows what he's talking about here, plus he has been saying quite frequently lately. In addition to being a huge action movie, it was also a lot of fun for Johnson and Jason Statham to make, as they have said so numerous times over the last few months. All of this is well and good, but fans want to know when they'll get to see the first footage, to which Johnson says, "Patience my man, the trailer is coming... Super Bowl."

The Super Bowl Hobbs & Shaw reveal wasn't even included in Dwayne Johnson's post. Instead, it was buried in the comments when the actor responded to a fan. It seems like a pretty nonchalant way for Johnson to announce a trailer reveal, but the man is always doing things differently and on his own terms. That being said, the secret is out. You can read Johnson's original post below.

A lil' Hobbs & Shaw exclusive. The biggest showdown the Fast and Furious franchise has ever seen. This sacred Samoan ground you stand on is nourished with our ancestor's blood - and now we nourish it with yours. E ke oki i le āsō - Today, you die. This film was my honor to produce and will always be much more than a movie to me."

Dwayne Johnson, like always, has done an amazing job keeping fans up to date on the status of the Hobbs & Shaw production. Introducing new characters, new sets, showing off his workout routines, and even teasing new story details. In another recent social media post, the actor revealed some more ties to the Fast and Furious franchise. He had this to say.

"In Samoa we have a word that means everything to us - AIGA - which means FAMILY. My name is Luke Hobbs and these are my four brothers. My family. My aiga. They all live in Western Samoa where they own and operate Hobbs Customs - a former illegal chop shop, now a legit business where they build and deliver vintage custom cars all over the world. In Samoa we have another saying which is Ou te le tau to'atasi ae matou te tau fa'atasi which means, When you fight one, you fight us ALL."

Hobbs & Shaw hits theaters on August 2nd, but we'll get our first look at the highly anticipated movie during the Super Bowl, which airs this Sunday, February 3rd at 3:30 PM on CBS. Dwayne Johnson did not mention during which portion of the big game that the trailer will air, so we'll have to wait and see. The good news is that the trailer drops less than a week now. While we wait, you can check out some exclusive pictures from the Hobbs & Shaw set below, thanks to Dwayne Johnson's Instagram account.
