Holloman Air Force Base is going to get the chance to reappear in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. The Air Force Times reports that the production is returning to the base used in the first film, and is again using actual Air Force members as extras.

The report states:

Last week, hundreds of airmen showed up for a movie casting call at the base.

Parts of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen are set to be filmed in Alamogordo, N.M., home to Holloman. Scenes from the first Transformers were shot at Holloman in 2006 and featured aircraft such as the CV-22 Osprey and MH-53 Pave Low.

"About 200 people will be hired as extras to portray military members," Maryellen Aviano, extras casting coordinator for DreamWorks Pictures, said in an Air Force news release.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen seems to be staying on schedule, which means that, despite Shia's latest real life injury, we will still be getting the film on June 26th, 2009.
