Australian songbird Kylie Minogue, known for her hits "LocoMotion" and "Can't Get You Out of My Head" was honored at the G'Day USA Australian Week black tie gala at Hollywood & Highland. Honorary Aussie, John Travolta, presented the award to her, as Ms. Minogue is a huge Grease Fan ( in which Travolta co-starred with Olivia Newton-John.) Olivia also performed at the event, which brought out a slew of celebs including Calista Flockhart, Mayor Villaraigosa, Bindi & Terri Irwin and the ubiquitous Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin. Seems Ms. Rinna is the new Cesar Romero, as she attends every event in town. Caught up with her at a recent gifting suite at the Luxe Hotel, grabbing every swag in sight.

Also honored was Director Phillip Noyce (The Bone Collector) whose award was presented by Harrison Ford, who he directed in Patriot Games.

John Travolta gave a moving tribute to Ledger at the Lincoln Centre and stated, Actors need other actors to be inspired, and he was my actor. In thinking about the doomed star, I am reminded of {13}, and Rebel without a Cause, which has become classic - .not only because of the film's excellence, but the fact that Dean died soon afterwards. The same power will no doubt be extended to Brokeback Mountain - which will be immortalized for Ledger's legendary performance.

A few nights later, he was among the Living Legends of Aviation lauded at the Beverly Hilton. These honorees include aviation entrepreneurs, record breakers, pilots and astronauts who have made an impact in the aviation industry. We were pleased to see our pal, Astronaut {14}, the second man on the moon, who just celebrated his 78th birthday in Calgary, participating in the Dual Giant Slalom race course. Talk about getting around!
