Ken Ziffren was named Entertainment Lawyer of the Year by the Beverly Hills Bar Association at the Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel. One of his most visible clients, Jay Leno, served as master of ceremonies for the event, which brought out an avalanche of attorneys to honor Ziffren, highly respected in both the legal and entertainment communities. We were pleased to be seated with Lou Fox, past Executive Director of the Beverly Hills Bar, and lovely Kaygey Kash Mosk the widow of Justice Stanley Mosk, of the California Supreme Court. We are certain you have seen the building named after Judge Mosk in downtown L.A.

The Supernova Award was presented to Lainie Kazan, a multi-talented performer. She is not only as a chanteuse, who has sung with the Boston Pops, and sold out houses throughout Vegas, New York and Europe; but she is also an award nominated actress, and received a Golden Globe for her performance in "My Favorite Year" starring Peter O'Toole. Recently she reprised her role in My Big Fat Greek Wedding in a TV series, and co-starred with Patricia Heaton in the romantic drama, The Engagement Ring.

Tom Bergeron (Dancing With the Stars) emceed the show, and Lainie even sang for her supper. She closed with a heartwarming rendition of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow". Hopefully, somewhere - sometime - there will be a cure for Muscular Dystrophy
