The biggest star in attendance (in more ways than one) was the Incredible Hulk, Lou Ferrigno, who was thrilled with his dazzling choppers (courtesy of Brite Smile) and enjoyed being pampered with a manicure and pedicure by Nailtini. Meanwhile, his lovely actress wife, Carla Ferrigno. who also is in great shape, had an eyelash extension session. Thankfully Lou opted out for this service! The body building couple also were offered a special trip to the Marques de Riscal, a luxury collection hotel in Spain, where their close pal, actress Diedre Hall (Days of our Lives) will join them.

Miami Designer of Jewelry of the Spirit, Liz Alpert's ancient Tibetan skull bracelets with semi precious stones, were a hit with the stars of both sexes. They come with great ancient history and good vibrations. Ferrigno received her Love and Gratitude pendant, and this guy has a lot to be grateful for. Even Omerosa (Celebrity Apprentice) received one of Alpert's rare crystal skull bracelets. Let's hope they will bring her the spiritual guidance, which she evidently needs.

The majestic California Condor was King of the World, at the recent Beastly Ball at the Los Angeles Zoo. Did you know that in 1978 there were only 27 condors in existence? Fortunately, through the efforts of the L.A Zoo team members, who monitored the health of the newly hatched wild chicks, today you can see more than 300 California condors soaring above our great state.

Long time Trustee Betty White MC'd the evening's program, and NBC TV's weathercaster Fritz Coleman was celeb auctioneer. One of the special prizes was an intimate behind the scenes tour for eight people, hosted by "The Ambassador for Animals" featuring some of her favorite residents. Another animal friendly guest at the event was Stefanie Powers (Heart to Heart) who created the William Holden Wildlife Foundation in Kenya.

Feasting on delicious fare from such eateries as Yamashirto, El Cholo, Parkway Grill and Pink'sHot Dogs were other notables, including Jenna Elfman & Bodhi, (Dharma and Greg), and Kimberly Marteau Emerson, who chaired the gala evening. Proceeds from this event support the Zoo's work as education resource for the citizens of L.A As the late environmental activist, John Muir stated, "Any glimpse into the life of an animal quickens our own, and makes it so much larger and better in every way."
