We joined Supermodel Tyra Banks at a “ Girls Night Out” at The Lodge, Beverly Hills hottest new eatery. The soiree was to celebrate Tyra being the November Cover Girl for Self Magazine, and she invited a gaggle of gal pals like Haylie Duff, Lacey Chabert and Taryn Manning to experience “The Power of Positive Thinking”. We were treated to a reading by Self’s Astrologer, Rose Marcus, who jetted in from New York for the occasion; and while sipping Cosmopolitans, were offered interviews with a Life Coach, Healer and Graphologist .

But it was not all fun and games – there is a serious side to Tyra. Did you know she supports The T Zone Foundation, dedicated to boosting self empowerment and academic achievement for teen girls transitioning to high school. They provide a safe place and positive forum for girls to resist negative social pressures, make responsible choices and participate in community service. What a gal!

And speaking of glorious gals, kudos to Dionne Warwick who led a slew of legendary entertainers at David Gest’s musical celebration. Hosted by two other special ladies, Angie Dickinson & Nancy Wilson, “The Party” featured such performers as Smokey Robinson, Freda Payne and Mickey Rooney strutting their stuff before more than 900 invited guests.

This official launch of Gest’s Extreme Entertainment Enterprizes was a kick off for Dionne Warwick’s 45th Anniversary Spectacular, which will take place at the Kodak Theatre on January 26th & 27th. More than 100 stars will participate in this All Star Salute. If the kick off party is an indication of what to expect - this is one event you won’t want to miss.

Another musical evening of international importance will be held on Saturday, November 12th at the Kodak Theatre starring Swedish sensation Robert Wells. Often described as a “combination of Elton John and Victor Borge,” Wells is a brilliant entertainer a well as a multi-platinum selling artist. Over 200 million people have witnessed his Rhapsody in Rock Concert Series, which is an infusion of classical, jazz, boogie-woogie, rock n’ roll and blues.

And to top it all off, he will be joined by American Idol winner Ruben Studdard, as well as singer Peter Joback, who starred in the London stage production of Miss Saigon. We understand that the entire American Idol crew, including Paula, Simon & Randy, have been invited to root for Ruben, and that even Clay Aiken may be in attendance.
